Moose is a 8 year old Australian Labradoodle.
He currently lives at Garner Fire Station 1 on Main St.

Meet Moose!

Moose is a working member of the Garner Fire Department. He goes with the fire fighters to all fire prevention activities and helps with teaching kids how to STOP, DROP and ROLL.  Moose can can crawl and check a door with his paw for heat.

He performs numerous other tricks and is great with kids. Moose is also a certified and registered therapy animal which allows him to go to hospitals and anywhere that doesn’t serve food.

Moose will also come out to our major emergency incidents to play with kids in a time of grief and sorrow. You may see him riding on the truck from time to time as he often rides the truck to calls.

Moose is a great addition to the day to day life of our firefighters. Having Moose there makes the fire station seem more like home!

Please stop by station 1 anytime and ask to visit with Moose. He loves visitors!
